The Dr. Mark Mobius Lecture Highlighting Thought Leadership in Responsible Investing is a floating-sidebar lecture series produced by Emerging Markets Investors Alliance that began in 2019.
The Lecture, named after Dr. Mark Mobius, explores diverse emerging market issues with experts, policymakers, and activists and showcases thought leaders who are advancing the boundaries of responsible investing.
The Lecture aims to educate and inspire investors to advocate for policies and practices in governments and companies that support good governance and sustainability.
Mobius Lecture speakers in prior years have included US presidential candidate Tom Steyer; Corinne Lequere, author of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th assessment reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007; and Chibeze Ezikeil, Goldman Environmental Prize Winner.
