GCFF 2027 will convene a curated group of ~65 investors, policymakers, financing platforms, ecosystem leaders, and climate SMEs to turn commitments into concrete capital pathways.

2027 FORUM SCHEDULE
GCFF 2027 begins with an informal welcome dinner bringing together investors, policymakers, climate SMEs and financing partners.
Session 1
From GCFF 2025 to 2027
What happens after the Forum ends? We revisit commitments and connections made at GCFF 2025 and hear directly from SMEs about their investment journeys since then; what moved forward, what did not, and what we can learn from their experience.

Session 2
Public Sector as Market Shaper
Governments do more than provide public finance. Their decisions can change whether and where private capital flows.
Using real country experiences, this session explores how fiscal policy, climate resilience, risk management and public institutions can create better conditions for private investment, and invites investors to say what they still need to see.
What does it actually take to move money from investors to climate SMEs?
This session showcases financing vehicles and investment platforms already creating practical routes to capital, and explores what it would take to use and scale these approaches across markets.
There is no shortage of promising climate SMEs. The challenge is turning them into a pipeline investors can actually use. This session looks at where current pipelines break down, what makes an opportunity genuinely investment-ready, and how platforms, intermediaries and better information can help build a stronger flow of investable opportunities.
Session 2
Matching Capital to Opportunities
This is where pipeline meets capital. A small number of vetted, investment-ready climate SMEs will be brought together with financing platforms and investors to explore real opportunities for investment, with the aim of taking promising opportunities beyond GCFF and towards actual capital deployment.
GCFF ends by asking a simple question: what happens next? Participants will identify a small number of practical actions to take forward after the Forum, including investment campaigns for selected SMEs, stronger sector pipelines and specific areas for policy follow-up. The aim is for the work to continue long after everyone leaves Jamaica.

Are flights included?
Unless specifically agreed otherwise with the GCFF Secretariat, participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel to and from Jamaica.
Participants for whom airfare would be a barrier may select “Request Participation Support” during registration.
GCFF 2027 will bring together a highly curated group of investors, asset managers, asset owners, policymakers, climate SMEs, financing platforms, and other key actors across the climate finance ecosystem. The Forum is designed for participants who can contribute to practical solutions for mobilizing private capital toward SME-led climate solutions in the Global South.

Participants should fly into Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The Forum venue in Lucea is approximately 45 minutes from the airport by car.
The Forum begins on Monday, May 3, 2027, with the Welcome Dinner at approximately 5:00 p.m. and concludes on Wednesday, May 5, 2027 in the afternoon.
Participants should plan to fly into Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, approximately 45 minutes from the Forum hotel.
We recommend arriving with enough time to travel to the hotel, check in, and be ready for the Welcome Dinner. Recommended arrival and departure windows, together with airport transfer instructions, will be provided to confirmed participants.

Visa requirements depend on your nationality and passport. Many nationalities can enter Jamaica without a visa for short visits, while others are required to obtain a visa before travel or may be eligible for a visa at the port of entry. Jamaica’s Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency maintains the official country-by-country entry visa requirements.
All visitors should travel with a valid passport or accepted travel document and may be asked to provide evidence of sufficient funds and a return or onward ticket.

Yes. A central objective of GCFF 2027 is to strengthen connections between credible climate SMEs and capital providers. The agenda includes sessions focused on building investable pipelines, matching capital to opportunities, and taking selected investment opportunities forward after the Forum through financing platforms and other mechanisms.
Yes. We welcome recommendations of individuals who would be a strong fit for GCFF 2027 and could contribute meaningfully to the Forum’s objectives.
Because participation is limited and curated, recommendations will be reviewed by the GCFF Secretariat and do not guarantee an invitation.
